Company
The New Drama Company is a Toronto based actors group where professional working actors specializing in the Stanislavski style of acting, work together between jobs or during long production runs to continue to develop their craft and experiment with new forms of creative acting works. It’s a commitment that allows freedom for actors to work on their craft and techniques in a private and supportive space.
We encourage the actor in continuing to strengthen and sharpen their skills. The professional actor is always working on their craft and discovering themselves in the work. It is the work that sets them free. Free to explore, rejuvenate, and challenge with other professional actors.
Actors who have trained under The Meisner Technique are welcome for an afternoon of repetition. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, partners will be designated on the day.

This is not a class and no teachings will be given. This is an encouraging environment for actors to practice connecting truthfully with a partner. From strengthening the listening muscles and sharpening the spontaneous nature of the actor in the hope of being present, from moment to moment.

A $10 fee contributes towards cost of time and space for this meet up. Location will be at a professional acting studio in downtown Toronto near a TTC subway station. The exact address will be sent to those who register. A facilitator with over 10 years of experience in The Mesiner Technique will be present to administer the repetition exercises.
